The course integrates level 3, 4 and 5, so by the end you will be qualified at Level 5 Diploma. 

Delivered through a blended programme with in person and online elements The Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy takes 12 months to complete and a further 6 months post graduation of group supervision, where you will be supported while starting in your new career. 

The in person weekends are approximately once a month and between the in person sessions there will be online meetings to enrich and consolidate the learning. 

Written assignments, case studies and learning activities are integral part of the learning and not required to be in academic language. An example of a home assignment is to write a handout for a client on lower back pain activity advice. Which will be marked by our markers and then can be used by the student therapist in their own clinic. 

The course full fee is £3,500. 

To confirm your place a deposit of £500 is required with the booking form. The rest of the balance can be paid through instalments over 6 or 12 months. 

However as we run the ‘Earn as you Learn” which means that after weekend 5 assessment you will be able to charge for your sessions as a student practitioner. 

Course Information

Our Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy has evolved in line with both the needs of clients who seek our help and what current evidence tells us is best practice . As such, it incorporates clinical applications of pain science and communication, modern manual therapy techniques, joint and injury assessment, exercise rehabilitation programs as well as movement consciousness practice, and aftercare advice for health and wellbeing. 

The knowledge, skillset, and competencies acquired in our unique Level 5 Diploma allow our graduates to treat people suffering with a variety of pain and injuries, including osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and rotator cuff problems. They learn how to support their return to a pain-free life, to their sports activities, their daily activities, or the management of pain in the case of long-term conditions.

Massage and manual soft tissue techniques form a key part of what we teach, as do communication skills, pain science, exercise, and movement-based rehabilitation—all within a framework of current evidence-informed practice. We put a strong emphasis on neuroscientific knowledge and are ourselves involved in research on touch and its effects.
