Modern Manual Therapy: Muscle Energy Techniques (MET) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)  I & II

Mandatory pre reading: online self paced attendance of the webinar “A Modern way to practice and teach Manual therapy” where we go through the recently released paper Anna Maria was a co author of which will form the basis of theoretical knowledge of the different workshops.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the Weekend the learner will be able to:

• Be up to date with knowledge on mechanisms around MUSCLE ENERGY TECHNIQUES (MET) and PNF
• Practically learn different techniques to apply MET and PNF
• Clinically reason the use METs and PNF within Massage Treatment
• Practically learn how to use METs and PNF within Massage Treatment
• Clinically reason the use METs and PNF for treatment and rehabilitation of Pain and Injury. Specific injuries will be covered
• Practically learn how to use METs and PNF with treatment and rehabilitation of Pain and Injury
• Practically learn how to use METs and PNF as an introduction to movement for clients who are exercise adverse
